About

Before entering the world of massage therapy, my work kept me close to my lifelong love of horses and involvement in the equine industry.  From leading trail rides to training Thoroughbred racehorses, the desire to give something back to these amazing creatures led me into equine massage therapy.  From there I decided to pursue a deeper understanding of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques for people.  Since graduating from North Carolina’s Body Therapy Institute in 2006, I have enjoyed working with both human and equine clients.

My dad was a medical doctor and my mom, a seeker of spiritual truths. Perhaps I was destined to search for a common thread between those two halves of my Self.  I have found massage therapy to be the perfect bridge. I am passionate about its benefits and believe that it is the single-most effective path toward wholeness, providing both physical benefits and emotional healing in every single session.

I believe the best health insurance policy is one that actually facilitates wellness of body, mind and spirit. Through nurturing all aspects of our selves, may we awaken the Healer that lives in each of us.

“Spirit and its cradle, Body, have got to recognize and learn to love each other.”  ~Priscilla Cogan, from Winona’s Web.
